*Cowhide is a naturally stain resistant and repellant material and can withstand use in the rain. If cleaning is necessary, spot clean with a damp towel or take to a professional cleaner. Never submerge any leather products in water. Initial shedding may occur around the edges where the hide has been cut, this will go away with time. Primecut Materials are secondary products of the agriculture industry. Primecut source deadstock shearling (extra leftover from larger companies) whenever possible. About 90% of shearling currently is deadstock material.
